Children under the age of 10 years are allowed to climb up to Shira camp ( 3845 M),but above 10 years can climb up to the top (Uhuru peak). But due to the fact that children are vulnerable to mountain sickness we recommend children above the age of 14 years. For old people (above 60 years) we recommend them to do medical check-up before.

Tips for the mountain crew are common practice. Gratuities are a large portion of the crew’s income and thus highly appreciated.

Yes you should bring some extra money for tips, souvenirs and other personal expenses. US Dollar, Euro and British Pound are the preferred currency. But other currencies such as Chinese Yuan, Japanese Yen, South African Rand, can be accepted.
Meals are included as mentioned in the itinerary. For breakfast there will be a choice of fruit, scrambled eggs, porridge, toast, jam, hot chocolate, coffee or tea. Lunch will be provided in form of a lunch box containing sandwiches, boiled eggs, chicken etc. For dinner you will enjoy soup and bread followed by meat or poultry along with starch (i.e. chips, mashed potatoes, pasta or rice) as well as vegetables. While breakfast and dinner are served in a mess tent equipped with a table and chairs, lunch is enjoyed en-route. Please let us know if you have any special dietary requirements or food allergies and we will do our outmost to cater for them (only possible with advanced notification).
If you are trekking Mount Kilimanjaro you will spend the overnight in two-man mountain tents equipped with sleeping mats. Single travellers often share a tent with another group member of the same gender, but single tents can be requested at extra cost.
But if you are on safari and you would like to spend your night in a camp site then Nights are spent on basic campsites inside the national parks or on the outskirts there of. Clients are provided with spacious two-man dome tents that are equipped with mosquito nets and comfortable sleeping mats.

We make use of reconstructed 4×4 safari vehicles (i.e. Toyota Landcruisers), that have been designed to conquer the ever demanding road conditions in East Africa. All vehicles have pop-up roofs that can be opened during game drives and a window seat is guaranteed for each guest.
Yes there are several domestic flights services in major cities such as Kilimanjaro, Arusha and Dar es Salaam. Most parks and towns have air strips accessible by smaller planes. Arusha Airport can accommodate planes which carry number of passengers of up to 45.
